With the success of MUMs Recipes Book One, due in large part to the generous sponsorship of the Royal Bank of Scotland, I have built up a huge network of supportive people who are committed to making a difference to the experience of childbirth in Lilongwe, Malawi. We are already meeting the main challenge of improving maternity services in Bwaila Hospital. This is the hospital formerly known as Bottom Hospital. Its name was changed by the president of Malawi himself to that of the district where the hospital is situated.
